Position Overview

SFG is hiring in Yellowknife for fully virtual Life Insurance Advisor, Independent Life Insurance Advisor, and Licensed Financial Security Advisor roles. You own your business and keep 100% of your commissions — SFG earns as a General Agent, not from your pay. We provide 20 life insurance carriers, CliCPrime leads at cost, and a 450+ advisor network.

As a Life Insurance Advisor, you keep every commission — CliCPrime delivers leads at cost, separate from your 20 carriers. As an Independent Life Insurance Advisor, you set your hours and build virtually. The Licensed Financial Security Advisor path includes mentorship from 450+ advisors, the GFS Advantage, and rewards travel. Life Insurance Advisor, Independent Life Insurance Advisor, Licensed Financial Security Advisor — all self-employed, all virtual, all yours.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate your practice 100% virtually and manage your own schedule

• Receive qualified leads through CliCPrime at cost and build your own referral network

• Place insurance solutions from SFG's 20 life insurance carrier portfolio

• Track your pipeline in SFG's AI-powered CRM and participate in team calls

• Obtain and maintain your provincial life insurance or financial security advisor license

Requirements

• Entrepreneurial mindset — you want to own your practice and your income

• Self-motivated and comfortable working 100% virtually without a fixed schedule

• Strong communication skills and a professional client-facing presence

• Experience in sales, insurance, finance, or customer service is an asset

• Must be eligible to obtain a provincial life insurance or financial security advisor license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education is an asset

• Background in business, finance, or communications is an asset
