Position Overview

SFG is expanding in Ottawa. We recruit self-motivated individuals ready to own their practice as a Life Insurance Advisor, Independent Life Insurance Advisor, or Licensed Financial Security Advisor. Work 100% virtually, keep 100% of your commissions, and access 20 life insurance carriers and CliCPrime — SFG's lead generation platform at cost.

As a Life Insurance Advisor, you keep every commission — CliCPrime delivers leads at cost, separate from your 20 carriers. As an Independent Life Insurance Advisor, you set your hours and build virtually. The Licensed Financial Security Advisor path includes mentorship from 450+ advisors, the GFS Advantage, and rewards travel. Life Insurance Advisor, Independent Life Insurance Advisor, Licensed Financial Security Advisor — all self-employed, all virtual, all yours.

Key Responsibilities

• Set your own hours and serve clients 100% virtually from anywhere in Canada

• Access CliCPrime for a consistent lead flow at cost, separate from your carrier access

• Match each client with the right coverage from SFG's 20 life insurance carriers

• Grow your referral network through the GFS Advantage and your own client relationships

• Maintain compliance with provincial licensing requirements and complete your annual CE credits

Requirements

• Goal-oriented self-starter with a passion for helping clients achieve financial security

• Ability to manage your time, pipeline, and business development independently

• Background in insurance, banking, mortgages, or investments is an asset

• Bilingual (English/French) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a provincial financial security advisor license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required

• Relevant experience in financial services, sales, or community outreach is considered
